In a certain place, there were two neighboring high schools: Chidori High School, a bottom-feeder boys' school full of delinquents, and Kikyo Girls' School, a fancy girls' private school. Rintaro Tsumugi, a strong and quiet second year student at Chidori High, meets Kaoruko Wakuri, a girl who visited his family's cake shop while he was helping out. Rintaro feels comfortable spending time with Kaoruko. However, she is a student at Kikyo, and all of the girls there seems to hate Chidori boys. This is the story of two people who are so close and yet so far apart.
